Twelve months and a theme spread年度月份+主题
Choose a starting month; review by month and quarter
Twelve Months and a Theme is an advanced spread of thirteen cards. Starting from a month you choose, it lays out a tendency for each of the next twelve months, and the final card becomes the year's theme. It suits planning-style questions, such as how to pace work and rest over the coming year, or which months may be better for pushing forward and which for pausing. The cards offer material for reflection, not predictions of specific events.
This spread cannot answer medical, legal, investment or gambling questions, and it will not tell you what will definitely happen in a given month. It only helps you see where your attention may naturally sit across the year, so you can meet each month with a little more awareness. If you are in a period of intense change, consider a smaller spread first and return to this one when things feel steadier.
Uses all 78 cards by default. You pick a starting month first.

How to read this spread
- Cards 1 to 12 follow the months in order from your chosen start; each card describes that month's atmosphere, not a fixed event.
- Read Card 13, the Year theme, on its own. It sets the underlying tone and can test whether the twelve months point in one direction.
- Read by quarter: months 1-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 form four groups. Look for shared elements inside each group, then at how one group hands over to the next.
- Read the theme last. Scan the whole year first, then return to the theme card and ask what you most want to protect this year.
- Do not stop at describing the cards. Write one small, doable action for each quarter to turn the reading into a next step.

Common questions
Can I choose any starting month?
Yes. Pick this month, next month or another clear starting point, then read all twelve months in order without skipping.
What if a month's card looks difficult?
Treat it as a signal, not a sentence. Note its quarter, find supporting cards nearby, and adjust your pace rather than your plans.
How often can I repeat this spread?
Wait at least a quarter before drawing again. Redrawing often shifts focus to the cards instead of your own actions.
